Greetings to global stakeholders, friends and audiences!
I am truly honored and humbled to have founded the DanzINC – International Dancers &Choreographers’ Residency Festival (DanzINC) in 2004. As an iconic Singapore International Contemporary Dance Festival, DanzINC has set a new benchmark in the Asia Pacific by heightening the vibrancy of the Asia dance scene, delivering unique and extensive strategic programmes at various theatres and venues, across two decades.
We are proud that DanzINC, as a prime force in Asia Pacific dance, has placed high quality productions and meaningful Singaporean dance works on the global map. DanzINC is pleased to have assembled the best artists in the Asia and Pacific region over the years, sharing with our global audiences the wonderful memories DanzINC’s high quality programmes have won commendations from various stakeholders and audiences, both local and international, consistently over the last two decades. Its importance and relevance in the dance scene is testified to DanzINC having fulfilled its key objective to project a strong message – “Dancing Souls in Resonance”. ODT‘s numerous collaborations and Memorandum of Understandings with various global companies, organisations and festivals have supported long term relationship-building, which have allowed many wonderful international initiatives and projects to be successfully accomplished. We are grateful to our stakeholders and supporters for their kindness and generosity. DanzINC continues to be the trailblazer in the promotion of Contemporary dance, resonating with audiences and stakeholders in one way or another.
Lastly, I wish to thank all donors, sponsors, and supporters who have journeyed with us, building our capacities into who and what the festival is today. We look forward to receiving you in our next edition.
Thank you.
