The biennial DanzINC – International Dancers & Choreographers’ Residency Festival 2012 returns for its fifth season with distinctive and comprehensive programming across 6 months, focusing on collaboration, relationship-building and audience engagement with a strong message “Dancing Souls in Resonance”. DanzINC 2012 spotlights on five major platforms – • International Presentation and Residency • International Choreographers’ Platform • International Collaboration Platform • Singapore Choreographers’ Platform • Finale of 5th DanzINC DanzINC 2012 continues to develop uniquely Singaporean works that will energize the local arts scene with wide genres in dance and the arts that cultivate new audiences in Singapore and abroad. Extending its programmes in both scale and depth in artistic exchanges, DanzINC 2012 partners local and international artistes, organisations and overseas festivals, thus bringing Singaporean voices to shores beyond. As in its previous seasons, the festival will culminate in a major full-length work – Hi Heaven! performed by ODT’s international cast that sets a new benchmark in dance making with ‘precision, originality and creativity’.
